Jetscribe Worklists

Jetscribe is centered around the use of worklists.  As a study moves into the Jetscribe system, it is assigned to a specific worklist – to be read, to be transcribed, to be signed, or stored as an archived study.  Think of each worklist as a “container” holding the exam.  As the exam is processed it is automatically moved to the next “container”.  In addition, an administrative person can move the exam to a different “container” to be reprocessed through the Jetscribe workflow.

Jetscribe's innovative "Quickstats" provides a snaphot view of how many studies are in each worklist. One click on a Quickstat number takes you directly to that worklist, where you can listen to the voice file, view a preliminary report, sign reports, or read exams.

Once a report is signed it can view viewed from the report archive worklist at any time. If needed radiologists can create an addendum to a signed final report.

Jetscribe Worklist Function Detail
To be Read Holds studies waiting to be ready by radiologist First “container” for inbound study.  When exam first arrives at Acuomed, it notifies Jetscribe within seconds and study is posted to the Jetscribe To be Read worklist.

To be Transcribed Holds study and voice file after dictation

Once the radiologist dictates the voice file, it is immediately uploaded to the Jetscribe server and stored with the exam.  Both the exam and the voice file are moved to the “To be Transcribed” worklist, where both transcriptionists and referring physicians can listen to the voice file.

To be Signed Holds studies awaiting signature from the radiologist. The exam information, voice file and preliminary report are stored together in the “To be Signed” worklist.  Only the radiologist can sign reports, but other users of the system can listen to the voice file and view the preliminary report.

Archived Reports All signed reports. Once the radiologist signs the reports, the final copy is stored in the “Archived Reports” area of the server, along with the original voice files, where anyone with a web browser and proper security can view the reports.
